Stocks are surging early in the U.S. trading session. The S&P 500 is at the highest level since
2008.
Earlier this morning, we got a trio of good jobs reports. Weekly
initial jobless claims fell to 365k last week.
Economists were looking for 370k.
ADP reported that payrolls increased by 201k in August. Economists were only looking for 140k.
Challenger Gray & Christmas told us that layoffs were at
the lowest level in 20 months.
However, the biggest story of the day may be the European
Central Bank monetary policy announcement and press conference led by Mario
Draghi…..
