The Paul Ryan Pick May Be Very Bad News For Stocks



Nomura economist Lewis Alexander (who is a former Treasury economist under the current President) is out with the first note we've seen on the Paul Ryan pick, BusinessInsider reports.

Alexander's take? The pick is likely to strengthen support for fiscal consolidation, and pull forward the debate about the Fiscal Cliff, thus creating a negative for markets.
