Moore Capital’s Coffey Said to Leave Firm, Liquidate Fund

Greg Coffey, co-chief investment officer of Moore Capital Management LLC’s European business, is leaving the hedge-fund industry, according to a person with knowledge of his decision..... Coffey, 41, joined New York-based Moore in November 2008 and was the first trader to share the chief investment officer title with billionaire founder Louis Moore Bacon since the fund’s inception 23 years ago.
