A nephew of Julian Robertson and a hedge fund manager at
Chilton Investment Co. was found dead in North Carolina yesterday. Benjamin Williamson's car was found submerged
off of a boat ramp on Figure Eight Island. It took a New Hanover County
Sheriff's Office helicopter unit to find the 2012 Hyundai Sonata.
Williamson was reported missing on Sunday morning; he had
not been seen since leaving a party for his mother, Robertson's sister Blanche,
on Figure Eight Island, near Wilmington, at about 2 a.m. on Sunday.
The Sheriff's Office said that foul play is not suspected in
the death of the 55-year-old Raleigh native, who lived in New York. The
investigation continues.
Williamson was a managing director and portfolio manager of
hedged U.S. equities at Chilton.
