According to the Wall St Journal spooked investors are
paying up for Apple Inc. options as the tech behemoth's shares continue to
slide.
Options prices for Apple stock have risen to their highest
level since just after the death of founder Steve Jobs last fall. That means
Apple's implied volatility—a measure of the market's expectations for future
stock swings based on options prices—is at its highest level since October.
