According to those gurus at the New York Post the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq are fighting over Facebook — but so far CEO Mark Zuckerberg is less than impressed with their overtures.
As the social-networking giant preps for the hottest stock listing in years, the dueling stock exchanges are pulling out all the stops. In an unusual move, NYSE boss Duncan Niederauer and Nasdaq CEO Bob Greifeld have both met personally with Zuckerberg and Facebook’s management, sources said.
Indeed, Neiderauer flew to Facebook’s home turf yesterday to plead his case in front of Zuckerberg and other executives, including CFO David Ebersman and COO Sheryl Sandberg, at their offices in Menlo Park, Calif.
