Oh please….an accident? According to BusinessInsider William Bryan Jennings, the co-head of fixed income capital markets at Morgan Stanley, has been placed on leave after being arrested and charged with a hate crime for allegedly threatening and stabbing a taxi driver of Middle Eastern descent back in December, a bank spokesperson confirmed.
Jennings allegedly stabbed the cab driver with a penknife after disputing a $200 cab fare from the city to his multi-million dollar Darien, Connecticut home, the Connecticut Post reported.
He's been charged with second-degree assault, theft of services and second-degree intimidation based on race or bigotry, the CTPost report said. His attorney denied the allegations claiming Jennings was a victim of abduction and the penknife incident was an accident.
