It was a bad year for some big billionaires. Well, as bad as life can be for an upper “1 percenter.”
The annual Forbes list of the world’s richest people has revealed that seven of the top 20 billionaires lost small chunks of their fortunes since last year.
“There were almost as many list members who lost wealth (441) as there were who gained it (460),” Forbes noted in a blog post. “The big story this year is churn.”
