Hundreds of anti-Wall Street protesters clashed with cops this morning throughout lower Manhattan after attempting to march toward the New York Stock Exchange as part of a massive citywide demonstration marking two months since the movement began according to coverage from the Ny Post.
The protest had begun peacefully, but quickly grew tense and escalated as cops made 100 arrests when a group of demonstrators tried to jump over some barricades.
Others were cuffed and hauled off after they sat on the ground in defiance after cops had ordered them to scatter.
"My question is how is that illegal to stand there? I got pushed and stepped on. This is the United States of America. I can walk on any sidewalk I want to," said Jessica Allure, 24, a student….
