The Omaha World-Herald company owns seven daily newspapers in Nebraska and Iowa, and by the end of next month, it will likely be owned by Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway. Another part of Buffett's reasoning for buying the company was to ensure that remains locally owned. He also might be interested in that fact that it owns World Marketing, Inc., a direct marketing firm with operations in Omaha, Chicago, Atlanta, Dallas and Los Angeles….
