The New Way That People Get Fired On Wall Street

Everyone on The Street has been talking about the brutal way UBS cut some of its employees this week. The Swiss banking giant said that it was going to cut 10,000 employees. The bank immediately got started on Monday making cuts. The Financial Times reported that some of the fixed income traders in London found out they were no longer employed because their security passes were not working when they tried to enter the building..... Meanwhile, Business Insider learned that some of the employees in the Stamford, CT office received phone calls Monday afternoon as Sandy churned up the Eastern Seaboard telling them they were cut…....
