A Former Star Goldman Trader Is Selling His Island For $4.6 MiM

Times is tough.  Christian Siva-Jothy, a former Goldman trader based in London, is putting his Scottish isle on the market for $4.6 million, according to The Daily Mail.

The island is named Eilean Righ in Gaelic, which means "King's Island," and is approximately .33 square miles in land area. It's off the Northeastern coast of Scotland, located in Lake Craignish.  The island itself comes well furnished, with a four-bedroom house, a helicopter hangar, a boathouse and a jetty. Siva-Jothy owned 3 planes and used to fly them from the island to London for work, the Daily Mail reported.

Siva-Jothy was once a legendary trader in the City, and started his own hedge fund SemperMacro after leaving the firm in 2004. But he closed the $200 million fund last year after he lost his edge..
A $4.6 million sale could certainly help him with his finances.
