From Forbes: Speculation continues to grow about Facebook‘s Android
announcement scheduled for Thursday. Last
week, TechCrunch, the Wall Street Journal and others reported that Facebook
would be announcing a Facebook version of Android that would run on an HTC
mobile device. In other words, some sort of Facebook phone. The device
reportedly would open Facebook directly in the phone, without having to go to
the Facebook app.
A new report published Monday claims to have specific
details of the new device, which will be an HTC phone codenamed “Myst,”
according to Android Police. The report explains purported details of the
operating system and how it is tweaked for Facebook. It includes the details of
a Facebook “Home” software designed specifically for Facebook….
