Exec's Wife's Franc Trades Raise a Stink


A swelling controversy over currency transactions by Swiss National Bank President Philipp Hildebrand and his wife stirred up fresh turmoil for a central banker who has faced two years of fierce criticism over his monetary policy and tough bank regulations, according to the Wall St Journal.

On Wednesday, the SNB sought to contain growing questions over currency trades made last year by Mr. Hildebrand and his wife, Kashya, around the time the central bank intervened aggressively in the currency markets.
