Weirdest Story of the Day: Polish Workers Bulldoze French chateau'by mistake'



According to the Telegraph report: Local French authorities have launched an investigation into the seemingly catastrophic blunder.

With its twin outside staircase and arched entrances, the 140,000 sq ft Château de Bellevue was one of the most eye-catching sights in Yvrac, a small wine-making village, an area north-east of Bordeaux, nestling among its famous vineyards.

Polish workmen were only supposed to demolish a separate smaller building on the grounds of the estate, but that is the only edifice still standing after the main building succumbed to the wrecking ball last month….
