An asset-management firm, acting on behalf of a religious
organization, and an employee pension plan have filed a shareholder proposal
asking Citigroup Inc. to explore a possible breakup the WSJ reports.
Trillium Asset Management LLC, on behalf of the Benedictine
Sisters of Mount St. Scholastica, along with the Afscme Employees Pension Plan,
noted that Citigroup's shares have "consistently traded below book value
since late 2008."
