A Job Offer That May Be Hard to Refuse

Working for free is a time-honored way for newbies to break into an industry, such as the film biz or magazine world. The Wall St Journal reports that it’s obviously a lot harder for law grads to stomach the notion of working gratis, given their often massive debt loads.

Still, some opportunists may want to consider an offer from the U.S. Attorney’s Office in New Jersey to work as a prosecutor — sans a paycheck — in the Newark or Camden offices. Federal prosecutorial experience, after all, is heavily in demand at law firms…..
