The body of Brad Griffiths has been found almost a week after the chairman of Canadian independent United Hunter Oil & Gas went missing in a lake. The 55-year-old’s body was discovered deep under water in Lake Joseph, Ontario on Saturday evening.
The renowned investment financier had gone missing from his boat on Monday as he took to the water to meet his daughter for a game of golf. A witness saw him floundering in the lake after apparently falling overboard.
A three-day search ended on Thursday before Griffiths’ family hired a private team of divers to continue to the search. Calgary-based United Hunter wrote in a statement today that an autopsy is due to be carried out today.
