The Wall Street layoffs carnage continues just in time for the holidays. Citigroup's chief executive Vikram Pandit announced plans to axe 4,500 jobs, Bloomberg reported.
The bank's CEO said the firm will take a charge of $400 million in the 4th quarter tied to the job cuts, including severance, the report said.
Pandit also said the Citi is limiting hiring to "critical jobs," Bloomberg reported...
