Just seven months after losing two top executives and three
family members in a plane crash in New Jersey, Park Avenue financial firm
Greenhill & Co. lost a junior associate as he was celebrating the start of
his new career at Greenhill, The New York Post has learned.
Jack Roloson, 23, was hit by an SUV on the Garden State
Parkway on Friday during an after-party celebration that went horribly wrong.
On July 26, Greenhill threw a party for Roloson and other
newcomers to mark the end of their summer training program and the start of
their careers at the global advisory firm, sources said. After the party, Roloson and some colleagues
rented a limo and took off for Atlantic City, according to one person with
knowledge of the situation.
Around 2 a.m., the limo pulled over onto the shoulder so
Roloson could relieve himself, according to NJ state police. Upon returning
from the median, while crossing the southbound highway, he was hit by an SUV. A memorial service was held yesterday in his hometown of
Arlington, Tex.
