Sad News: Death Plunge Banker Falls 100ft From Sixth Floor Balcony


A man has died after plunging nearly 100ft from a sixth floor balcony bar at the Tate Modern gallery in London, the police have confirmed.  According to HuffPo UK the incident was witnessed by hundreds of tourists, many of whom were sunbathing outside the iconic building.

The man, Michael Foreman, a HSBC banker, fell from the members' bar balcony around 6pm on Tuesday evening.  The sixth floor bar overlooks the building’s main entrance.

Onlookers were stunned by the incident, with one tweeting that "Seeing the guy who had committed suicide and jumped off the Tate modern has been the most traumatic thing I have seen".
